Started in 2012, The Quirky Slate Company handmakes a wide range of natural slates including wedding favours, hearts, place names, balloon weights, Quirky Rhymes, verses, place mats, coasters, house signs and more – all made to order and personalised as you wish. 

Simon was a stonemason in the Worcestershire area for many many years and was privileged to work on some amazing buildings and projects. He comes from a family of creative people and wanted to continue creating different, quirky pieces with a smile on his face – so he teamed up with his wife Julie and started the Quirky Slate Company. 

We offer a wonderful range of Quirky Slates and a bespoke service, so for a special occasion we can help. For births, birthdays, weddings and retirements, a personalised gift would mean so much. Prices range from key rings at £4.00, to a fabulous range of signs & hearts for the home and garden from £5.00. We even make a range of Quirky Clocks from £15.00.

Julie, Simon and the team travel around the two counties and beyond going to markets, craft shows and county fairs galore with their slates in tow. We also go to crafting events or host our own to show you how personalised slates are made and how to make your own.
